These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Trace mobile application and its backend services (collectively "the Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using Trace you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Trace. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Nature of the Service

Trace is a personal portfolio-tracking tool. It displays market data and analytical metrics for informational purposes only.

Nothing in Trace constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
Past performance indicators shown in the app are for informational purposes and are not a guarantee of future results.
All investment decisions you make are solely your responsibility. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app or API.
Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk without prior written consent.
Introduce malware, spam, or any code that could disrupt or harm the Service or other users.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

5. Market Data Accuracy

Prices and market data displayed in Trace are sourced from third-party providers (Yahoo Finance, NSE India). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Trace is not liable for losses arising from reliance on data displayed in the app.

6. Intellectual Property

All code, design, trademarks, and content in Trace are owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trace and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if the Service is discontinued. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via in-app notification.
